Description

During this second clinical practicum the respiratory therapy student will apply to practice, knowledge and understanding in the delivery of respiratory care to patients. Student experiences are structured to provide exposure to diverse patient populations and students are encouraged to begin to look at patient care with a holistic approach. The clinical activities are scheduled at various health care facilities. The student is required to successfully complete competency evaluations for additional procedures in the critical care and diagnostic areas. Prerequisites: RTS120, RTS127; Co-requisites:
RTS223, RTS225, RTS226.
