Description
This course is designed to instruct the student to the Maine EMS Licensure level of First Responder, who serves as the vital link in the chain of the health care team. The curricula includes skills necessary for the individual to provide emergency medical care with a limited amount of equipment. Students will be expected to learn how to treat basic life threatening injuries and medical conditions, being the ?first? on scene in most instances, for stabilization until more definitive care arrives.
