Description
In this course, students will continue to learn about assistive technology that can be used to enhance and adapt the environment to the needs of people with disabilities. Students will have the opportunity to view and have hands on experience with virtual environments, technological equipment, universal design, environmental modifications, and other devices and services that are used in occupational therapy practice. Physical agent modalities, safety technologies, and telehealth will be reviewed and discussed. Prerequisites: OTS103, OTS104; and OTS122 Co-requisites: COM104, OTS105, OTS109.
