Description

This course is an exploration of continuous quality improvement principles in the health care setting and their relationship to the health information profession. Theories and practice will include QI, data collection, analysis, application and implementation of LEAN initiatives, and problem-solving techniques. Utilization review and risk management topics are also included. Prerequisites: HIT132. Corequisites: HIT201, HIT210, HIT211.
