Description

This course is designed to provide students with practical experience in their chosen occupation by working as an intern at a local business or industry. A daily journal will be used to keep track of the internship experience with a final report of the experiential education required. Employment seeking skills such as writing cover letters, filling out applications, job interviewing, and resume construction will also be included. Exit interviews will be conducted by the Trades and Technology Department upon completion of the course. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all semester 1, 2, and 3 courses in the AECT program.
