Description
This course covers the installation and maintenance requirements of telephone and cable television equipment from Central Office/Head end to customer. Safety and compliance with code requirements will be emphasized throughout the course. Students taking this course will become proficient in the use of the hand tools and specialized equipment associated with telecommunications. Prerequisite: successful completion of first semester Electrical Lineworker Technology program course and current enrollment in all second semester program courses.
