Description

This course explores how and why children grow, develop, and learn. We will examine physical, cognitive, emotional and social changes from conception through adolescence. Students will integrate this information into an exploration of educational practices and the response to children with adverse childhood experiences. Attention will also be paid to exceptionality and transitions from adolescence to adulthood. Preq Psy 101
