Description
This course focuses on the commercial lending process, its organization and relationship to bank profitability. Topics covered include loan interviews and credit investigations, the ?Five Cs? of commercial lending, loan structure and documentation, and identification and prevention of problem loans. A major purpose of the course is to provide the student with a thorough understanding of the commercial credit function and its significance within the scope of the banking organization. Prerequisites: FIN201, ACC212 with grade of ?C? or better.
