Culinary Nutrition (CUL 131)
Term: 2021-2022 AY - Fall Semester
The purpose of the course is to assist the student in developing, understanding and applying concepts and principles of applied culinary nutrition. Students are introduced to basic human nutrition and practice translating current nutritional recommendations into menus. Students explore the science behind diets and the fundamentals of how nutrition impacts public health. Pre-req Cul 101 and CUl 111.
