Description
The purpose of the Academic Dismissal Recovery Program (ADR) is to create an aggressive intervention to assist and mentor first year KVCC students who are appealing academic dismissal to learn effective strategies to overcome academic, financial, technological, and interpersonal challenges that negatively impacted their first semester of college coursework. Students enrolled in ADR will gain effective skills and successful strategies in the following areas: Information and Technology Literacy, Financial Literacy/Career Decision Making, Personal Accountability/Informed Decision Making, Campus Resource Awareness and Connection.
