Description
This course provides an introduction to American literature from its earliest recorded origins to the end of the 18th century. Through close reading and analysis of selected texts from a diverse authorship, students will examine the ways in which these works reflect and shape the cultural, historical, and social contexts of their time. Prerequisite: A grade of āCā or higher in ENG101.
