Reading Short Fiction (ENG 214)
Term: 2015-2016 - Fall Semester
Students will read and study a variety of short stories and novellas. By examining literary elements such as plot, character, and imagery, students will enrich their response to these powerful short-fiction forms. Diverse readings will exemplify the variety of styles, techniques, artistic effects, and themes of short fiction, as well as the historical development of this literary form. Prerequisite: Grade of “C” or higher in ENG101 or ENG 102.
