Are you looking for a different career? Good jobs are opening all the time, but may require that you have a CDL endorsement on your current drivers license. CDL?s are required for those who wish to operate a bus, vehicle with gross vehicle weight rating of over 26,000 lbs., or a vehicle towing a unit with a manufacturer?s gross vehicle weight of more than 10,000 lbs when the vehicle exceeds 26,000 lbs. Topics for this course include: All laws required for commercial drivers, lecture, ?range? driving, and over-the-road driving. At the conclusion of the course you will be prepared to take both your written and road tests with the State of Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles. A CDL is required for those students who may be looking to enter the Line Worker Technology Program.
